Explore Roseville

Known simply as “Junction” in 1864 when it was the spot where the first transcontinental railroad and California Central Railroad crossed. “Junction” would become a trading post for farmers over the next several decades, and then in 1906, Southern Pacific Railroad moved to Junction and three years later the town incorporated. The city of Roseville was born. Today, Roseville has blossomed into a city with 128,615 people and covers a total of 42 square miles.
